The National Memorial Chorten, also known as the Thimphu Chorten, is a whitewashed stupa in Thimphu, Bhutan, built to honor the third Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. The chorten, which was consecrated in 1974, is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Thimphu and is a popular pilgrimage site for Bhutanese Buddhists.
